Public Involvement Prior to Development of Draft Policy (through March, 2004)
Public Meetings: ANR held eight public meetings across the state in March, 2004 to hear public comment on the issue of wind energy development on ANR lands. Over 700 people attended these meetings and provided valuable input to the Agency on this important issue. Summaries of the comments received at these meetings have been completed and are posted on the website (see Meeting Summaries).

Additional Input Received: In addition to the input received at these eight public meetings, the Agency received several hundred comments via letter, email and telephone. Summaries of this input is posted on the website (see Summary of Written and Telephone Comments).



Public Involvement on Draft ANR Policy (through August 2, 2004)
Public Comment Period: The Agency carefully considered the comments and input received in March of 2004 in developing a draft policy before developing the final policy.
